1. All chips must be visibly displayed at all times. Players may not have tournament chips in their pockets at any time. Players who have chips in their pockets will forfeit the chips. The forfeited chips will be taken out of play for the tournament. Questions should be directed to the Tournament Director.

2. No rabbit hunting is allowed. (No Rabbit Cam.)

3. Players' verbal declarations made in turn are binding.

4. Each side pot will be split as a separate pot. Side pots will not be mixed together before they are split.

5. "Call for the clock" rules:

  a) Once a reasonable time has passedfor a player to act, the clock may be called on that player. The player then has 30 seconds to act on the hand. If no action is taken within the allotted time, the hand will be dead.

  b) The clock is not stopped unless the Tournament Director requests the clock be stopped.

6. If a player exposes any card with action pending, the hand may be declared dead by the Tournament Director.

7. When action is finished for the hand due to players being all-in, all hands must be turned face up before any remaining cards are dealt.

8. The "one-player-to-a-hand" rule will be enforced.

9. Tournament seats will be randomly assigned. However, reasonable accommodation will be made for players requiring accessibility for wheelchairs, crutches, etc.

10. The "English-only" rule will be enforced during the play of hands.

11. Cell phones are allowed at the table, but a player must step away from the table to place or answer a call. Headphones are allowed at the table if the volume is not distracting to other players. However, headphones are not allowed once all remaining players are "in the money".

12. Players may ask for a deck change during a tournament.

13. When time has elapsed in a round, and a new round is announced, the new limits apply to the next hand. A hand is begun with the first card dealt off.

14. Players must keep their highest denomination chips visible at all times.

15. The dealer must muck a player's hand if the player is not seated at the table when the action is to him/her, including the big blind before the flop.

16. Players going from a broken table to fill in seats assume the rights and responsibilities of the position. They can get the big blind, the small blind, and the button. The only place they cannot get a hand is between the small blind and the button.

17. The Tournament Director has sole discretion in assessing the following penalties on players to enforce tournament rules:

  a) verbal warning

  b) declaring a player's cards a dead hand

  c) requiring additional bets be posted

  d) forfeiture of some chips

  e) forced time away from the table (10, 20, 30, or 40 minutes)

  f) disqualification of a player, and removal of all that player's chips from the table

18. Players are obligated to protect other players in the tournament at all times. Discussing cards discarded, hands, or hand possibilities is not allowed.

19. In No-Limit, when raising, a player must either put the amount of the raise out in one motion, or state the amount of the raise. By stating the word "raise", a player protects his/her right to raise, but the raise must still be made in one additional motion unless the amount of the raise was stated.

20. Verbally disclosing the contents of a player's hand, or advising a player how to play, may result in a penalty.

21. In No-Limit, less than a full raise does not reopen the betting to players who have  already acted on their hands.

22. The Tournament Director's decision is final.

23. Tournament play will use a "dead button". If the small blind is eliminated, the button moves to the now-empty seat (the seat vacated by the eliminated small blind). The player who was the big blind now posts the small blind, and the player to the left posts the big blind. The player who was the button will, in effect, be the button once again. If the big blind is eliminated, and is not replaced, the button moves to the player who was the small blind, and the player to the left of the eliminated big blind posts the big blind. There is no small blind for that hand. If both blinds are eliminated, and not replaced, the same player will be the button three hands in a row. The button moves to the empty seat (the seat vacated by the eliminated small blind player), and the player to the left of the eliminated big blind posts the big blind. There is no small blind for that hand. On the following hand, the button moves to the next empty seat (the seat vacated by the eliminated big blind player), and the two players to the left post the normal blinds. The button and blinds are placed normally for the following hand.
